Malinda Gibbons, L.Ac.(Licensed Acupuncturist, Maya Abdominal Therapist)answered(7/17/2012)There are multiple answers to this depending on your age and health. In general, from an Oriental medicine perspective, you can open up the energy in the meridians that flow through the pelvis.
Physically, you could do something like hula hooping to open up blood flow and release stagnation.
Mentally, it's important to let go of frustration and anger. This is because the Liver meridian flows through the pelvic area and it is affected by stagnant emotions.
Where the Kidney meridian is responsible for libido, the Liver meridian is responsible for orgasm. Aside from letting go of unhealthy emotions, physical exercise is one of the best ways to move the energy in your Liver meridian. Another way is to literally have your partner massage your pelvic area and lower abdomen. This increases blood flow and opens up the energy. The other way to increase blood flow is by doing Kegels, quickly squeezing the muscles in your vagina in and releasing. Do this at least 15 times to really activate the blood flow inside your vagina.
Stephen Snyder, MD(Sex and Relationship Expert)answered(7/18/2012)The more intense arousal you allow yourself during sex, the better the orgasm will be at the end. www.sexualityresource.com/open-secrets-about-sexual-arousal/ The most desirable situation, in my opinion, would be where arousal takes you to such a special place that orgasm, when it occurs, is almost an afterthought -- like a yummy dessert at the end of a great meal.
